Privacy Policy - The Multitrack Player

This Privacy Policy describes how The Multitrack Player ("we", "our" or "the application") collects, uses, and protects the information of users ("you" or "user") of our iOS mobile application.

By using The Multitrack Player, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the application.

2.1 Account Information

When you sign in with Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, we collect:

• Email address
• User name
• Unique user ID provided by the authentication provider (Google or Apple)
• Profile photo (if available)

Note: When using Sign in with Apple, you have the option to hide your email address. In that case, Apple provides a private relay email address.

2.2 Usage and Analytics Data

Through Firebase Analytics, we collect:

• Authentication events (login, logout, account deletion)
• Application usage patterns
• Error and crash information
• Feature usage statistics
• Device information (model, operating system, app version)

2.3 Multitrack Projects and Audio Files

• Multitracks (projects), tracks, and audio files you import are stored locally on your device
• Each user has their own separate and secure multitrack data - each user can only see and access their own multitracks and files
• We do not upload, share, or have access to your audio files
• Track configuration data (volume, pan, mute, order) is stored in the application's local database

• Track configurations (volume, pan, mute, order)

• User session information
• User preferences
• Unique user ID (linked to authentication provider)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Authentication: Verify your identity and manage your session

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues
• Communication: Send important notifications about the application (if applicable)

5.1 Local Storage

• Application data is stored locally on your device using CoreData and UserDefaults
• Audio files remain on your device and are not synced with external servers

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information:

• Use of secure protocols (HTTPS) for communications
• Secure storage of session data
• Authentication through trusted services (Google Sign-In)

However, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

• Session data: Retained while your session is active or until you log out
• Local data: Retained on your device until you uninstall the application or manually delete the data
• Analytics data: Managed by Firebase according to their retention policies

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we have about you
• Rectify: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete: Request deletion of your personal data
• Revoke consent: Log out and stop using the application at any time

To exercise these rights, you can:

• Log out from the application
• Delete your account through the Account screen in the app (see Section 7.1)
• Uninstall the application to delete all local data
• Contact us at the address provided in Section 11

7.1 Account Deletion

You can delete your account directly from within the application:

• How: Go to Account Settings → Delete Account
• What happens: Your account will be permanently deleted immediately
• Data deleted:
  • Your authentication credentials
  • All multitracks, tracks, and audio files associated with your account
  • All personal data stored in the application
  • Session information
• Timeline: Immediate deletion from the application and local storage
• Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation message once deletion is complete

Note: This action cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed.

8. Children's Privacy

The Multitrack Player is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, where data protection laws may differ. By using the application, you consent to these transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through:
